No more crib!!!

The crib had been a part of our home for 9 years. I can still remember the day we bought it...I can still remember the day we put it together and is he'd tears because we didn't have a mattress, so Bryan went to Walmart at 10 o'clock at night to make me smile. The hours I stood over the rails watching our little miracles sleep. Watching Hanna sleep in her car seat in the crib. :) Its a bitter sweet day for me. My babies are growing up! Here's to our first night in our new beds!!

(Slightly messy because Hanna had to jump on it to "try it out"!)

Thanks santa for our new bedding!!

Pollock Family Christmas 2014

On Saturday we were able to get together with my moms side of the family. Our traditional family pictures were snapped. We were missing my cousin Matt's wife Mandy...but still had a good crew!

And I can't believe how this girl is growing up.

And gram had the wonderful chance to play bird bingo with Hanna....but loved watching them together!

Merry Christmas 2014

Unfortunately I have very few pictures from Christmas this year.

We entered the season with sickness...but so thankfully got medicine and was on the mend by Christmas Eve Day. We had the traditional meal at our house Christmas Eve, attended Christmas Eve service, and then Got cookies and carrots out for Santa and the reindeer.  We also had to say good bye to our elves Conner and Cindy Lou...after tears, we crawled into bed.

(By this pic you can tell Hanna was thankfully feeling better!)

Santa came and the girls were so happy! Hanna received the frozen scooter she wanted, and Bryanna received the infinity game.  Of course before the girls went downstairs, we had to take the traditional "step" picture.

We then spent the day at mom and dad's with the Henry's. A fun filled day indeed!

Cookies anyone?!

Who could resist a cookie made by a doll  in this get up?!

(Which was outfit number 2 for the day!)

Annual baking of Santa's favorite cut out cookies took place on Sunday....and this year there was a determined 3 year old wanting to get her hands in there! Fun memories with these two little ladies!

And finally we got to lick the beaters!!

All aboard!

IAll aboard the Polar Express!

This weekend friends of ours invited us to a Polar Express party, beginning with conductor Kevin blowing the whistle in our driveway! Bryanna hopped on and rode the magical van to their home (Hanna opted to ride w mom and dad!). We then had a fun, magical evening celebrating the holidays among friends!

And the kids nestled down to watch the movie...for a brief period of time! :)

What a weekend!!!

We have a tradition to go to Kraynaks each year with the Tharans to walk thru Christmas tree lane. We were to go last weekend and strep throat attacked our house. Sad kiddos caused for a reschedule to this weekend. Kevin and Bryan were busy, so Lauren and I ventured with our four plus cousin Griffin. Thanks to Wendy and randy, we had some awesome wheels and a wild ride!

There were lots and lots of favorite trees this year...even frozen!

We then hit Daffins candy store...the highlight wasn't the chocolate, but a big guy in a red suit!!

Bryanna and Santa shared some secret words about the wooden cross around his neck...I'm not allowed to know...it's a secret with Santa!

And Hanna told Santa she's been a good girl this year...and would really like a frozen scooter!

Hanna's glasses...

As most of you know, Hanna was diagnosed with a strabismus in November. This means the muscles in her right eye are not working correctly. She got her glasses, and amazingly to Bryan and I...she does not fight us to wear them! She's doing wonderful, and we can really tell the glasses are helping her sight.

Here is a picture we took showing her eye....

And here's the picture of her in her new glasses! We pray these glasses begin to correct her vision!

Happy thanksgiving!

We were fortunate to spend our 20th thanksgiving in Ohio with Bryan's side of our family! The girls, especially Bryanna, count the days until its time to leave to see grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We had a delicious meal, and amazing family time!

The girls with their cousins...

And craziness broke out...daddy, uncle Nate, lots of kiddos, and a balloon!
